Interactive Map
By Kelly R. McPherson, Christina L. Stamos, and Michelle Sneed
An interactive map service (IMS) is a map that may be customized to your needs and viewed to the scale that is appropriate for the data you wish to view. Layers may be added or removed from a set of many layers provided. The map can be shifted so that the area you desire is in the middle of the map and you may zoom in or out on that desired location. In addition to changing the appearance of the map it is possible to find additional information about a particular location, feature or data layer by using tools included with the interactive map viewer.
